Check that picture out, the Droid X looks very big although not by alot, but even then it does look hefty sitting next to the HTC Evo 4G and iPhone. I havn’t actually held the Evo as it’s a CDMA phone, but I have played around with a HTC HD2 which is a similar size to the Evo 4G. This picture does clearly show the Droid X being slightly bigger. This picture from the Boy Genius does really put the size into perspective, but let’s not try and judge the phone by a picture. Maybe in hand it might actually feel a lot better, so we will have to wait for a real verdict.
The Motorola Droid X will apparently feature a 4.3″ capacitive LCD screen similar to that of the HTC HD2. It has a TI OMAP 3630 chipset clocked at 720Mhz or maybe a 3440 or even a Qualcomm Snapdragon: theres plenty of confusion and debate here (Lets hope it’s a Snapdragon). It also has an HDMI output and an 8mp camera that is capable of recording at 720p. The device will be running Android 2.1 and some version of MotoBlur (Motorola’s custom Android user interface).
